Job Description

LaSalle Network is hiring a Category Manager to support a rapidly growing healthcare organization during a critical expansion phase. This Category Manager  role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, can own procurement initiatives end-to-end, and enjoys digging into data, contracts and supplier strategy. This Category Manager opportunity offers strong potential for long-term conversion.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead direct procurement initiatives across medical, surgical and pharmaceutical categories
• Manage sourcing for medical supplies, IV fluids, DME, PPE and related equipment
• Partner with GPOs and vendors to optimize pricing and contracts
• Review, negotiate and analyze supplier agreements and long-term contracts
• Drive procurement projects, including cost savings and process improvements
• Track and present metrics, spend analysis and sourcing performance
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders

What’s needed:

• 5+ years of healthcare procurement experience (acute or non-acute care)
• Proven experience in category management and contract negotiation
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Macros, VBA)
• Experience with procurement tools (D365, Power BI preferred)
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead initiatives independently
• Comfortable working onsite 3 days per week
