Job Description

Rightstone  is looking for a Forklift Operator & Warehouse Associate in Bronx, NY. The pay rate is $19/hr. for a 2-month temporary contract, offering a great opportunity for immediate work with a recognized industry leader.  

 

In this role, you will be responsible for an all-encompassing range of warehouse duties, from operating specialized machinery to physical loading and unloading of materials. You will ensure the facility stays productive and safe by following operational standards, performing quality inspections, and maintaining a clean work environment.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Operate assigned machinery and material handling equipment in a safe and productive manner.  
  • Perform physical loading and unloading of raw goods and finished products.  
  • Follow all supervisor instructions and adhere to Operational Standard Work procedures.  
  • Execute "Picker" and "Loader" duties to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.  
  • Conduct visual inspections of products to ensure all items meet quality standards.  
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area through regular housekeeping and general maintenance.  
  • Strictly follow all safety policies, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).  
  • Ensure all machine guards and safety features are functioning correctly before and during operation.  
  • Comply with all facility-specific rules, regulations, and procedural guidelines.  
  • Perform various operational assignments as directed by the site supervisor.  

 

Qualifications:  

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is generally required.  
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.  
  • Active Forklift Certification is required for this position.  
  • Ability to lift up to 65 pounds unassisted on a regular basis.  
  • Must provide and wear steel-toe boots for every shift.  
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.  
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.  
  • Ability to work the required shift of Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (subject to change).  
  • Dependable transportation to the Bronx, NY location.  
  • Solid communication skills and the ability to follow multi-step verbal and written instructions.
