General Manager
New Restaurant Concept in Washington, DC | Opening Fall 2026

Job Details
We're looking for a General Manager to help lead the opening of a new chef-driven, independent hospitality concept in Washington, DC.

We're building a team that believes hospitality is a craft. We move with urgency, care deeply about the guest experience, and hold ourselves to high standards while creating an environment that's energetic, collaborative, and genuinely fun to work in.

What we're looking for:

• A confident, natural leader who inspires people as much as they manage operations.
• Previous General Manager or exceptional Assistant General Manager experience in upscale restaurants, cocktail bars, or luxury hospitality.
• Someone who thrives in high-energy environments and leads from the floor.
• A highly guest-facing leader who acts as an ambassador of the brand, building lasting relationships, cultivating regulars, and creating memorable experiences that define what we're known for.
• Someone who builds strong teams, develops future leaders, and creates a culture people genuinely want to be part of.
• Experience hiring, developing, mentoring, and retaining exceptional talent.
• Strong operational and financial knowledge, including scheduling, labor management, inventory, cost controls, and P&L oversight.
• Pre-opening experience is highly preferred.
• A passion for hospitality, food, beverages, music, and creating unforgettable guest experiences.

What you'll do:

• Build, hire, train, and lead the opening team.
• Create a culture rooted in accountability, respect, and exceptional hospitality.
• Establish the standards and systems that will define the guest experience from day one.
• Deliver consistently exceptional service while maintaining an active, visible presence on the floor.
• Serve as a visible ambassador of the brand, engaging with guests and helping build a loyal community around the restaurant.
• Work closely with ownership to shape the guest experience, daily operations, and long-term success of the concept.
• Mentor and develop managers and team members through coaching, accountability, and leadership.
• Lead by example every day.
