The core responsibilities of this role includePerforming daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy across all locations.Execute recounts for variances outside acceptable tolerance levels and document findings.Support in investigatingandreconcileofinventory discrepancies.Conduct daily inventory audits to verify product integrity, quantity, and proper storage.Assistwith root-cause analysis of inventory errors to prevent recurrence.Ensure proper labeling, slotting, and product identification to support accuracy and efficiency.

-Position: Inventory Control Clerk
-Shift: 1st shift Monday –; Friday 6am - 2pm
-Pay: $19.40

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate may also possess the following skills and/or experience: Production, Manufacturing, Warehouse, General Labor, Forklift, Quality Control, Material Handler, Loader/Unloader, Equipment Operator, Sit-down,

First preference will be given to those with Cherry Picker and Reach Truck experience. Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Dock Stocker, Sit-down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack is also a plus. A minimum of 6 month’s experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP is preferred.

A minimum of 6 months inventory control experience is preferred

Role Purpose :

Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Maintain inventory records.
  • Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
  • Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
  • Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
  • Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Required Education and Experience :

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
  • Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
