Our client is seeking a reliable, high-performing Legal Transcriptionist for a focused 90-day contract. In this role, you will be a vital asset to the legal team, handling heavy transcription specifically focused on complex real estate law documentation. What We Are Looking For:
- Attention to detail - you don't just skim; you notice the missing comma, the misspelled legal term, and the formatting inconsistency.
- Proven experience in heavy audio transcription, ideally within a law firm or legal department. Knowledge of Real Estate Law terminology is highly preferred.
- Must be dependable, self-motivated, and ready to hit the ground running on Day 1.
- High-speed, accurate typing skills (minimum 70+ WPM preferred) and proficiency with transcription software and MS Word.

Responsibilities
- Heavy Transcription: Convert audio recordings and dictations of legal documents, client meetings, case notes, and contracts into flawless, professionally formatted written text.
- Real Estate Law Focus: Handle complex legal terminology specific to property deeds, zoning, commercial/residential leases, titles, and closing documentation.
- Quality Assurance: Proofread and edit transcriptions meticulously to ensure zero errors in legal terminology, grammar, and formatting.
- Meet Tight Deadlines: Manage a high volume of transcription requests efficiently without sacrificing quality.
