Job Description

As an Order Puller, you will be an integral part of our fast-paced team, responsible for efficiently picking and handling various products. Your role will involve the use of a sit-down forklift for moving crated products and manual handling of smaller boxed items, which can weigh up to 50lbs. Additionally, you will utilize RF scanners for accurate inventory management and perform routine cycle counts. Breaking down crates of incoming products will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Pick and handle boxed and crated products efficiently.
• Operate a sit-down forklift to move crated products.
• Manually move smaller boxed products weighing up to 50lbs.
• Utilize RF scanners for inventory management.
• Perform inventory and cycle counts accurately.
• Break down crates of incoming products.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 3-5 years of recent experience in fast-paced order pulling.
• Proficiency in operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Experience using RF scanners and managing inventory.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and heavy production environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Team-oriented mindset, working collaboratively to complete daily orders.
• Preferred experience in the oil and gas industry.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled environment on the first shift, from Monday to Friday. While overtime is rare, there are occasions where a couple of extra hours may be required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
