About The Role Ideal Siding is looking for a
Project Coordinator to serve as our local
field representative in Charleston . We are a home exterior renovation company focused on siding replacement and remodeling, not new construction.
This role takes
ownership of the project once the customer agreement is signed. From that point forward, you will help move the job through execution by coordinating crews, managing materials and change orders, monitoring budgets and job progress, and keeping homeowners informed every step of the way.
This is a
hands-on, field-based role for someone who enjoys balancing customer communication, project coordination, and day-to-day problem solving. You will act as the main local point of contact for homeowners and installers, while our back-office team handles contracts, proposals, administrative support, and financial processing.
And as we continue to expand in 2026, this position offers the
opportunity to grow with the company into a larger role if desired.
Key Responsibilities - Handle material orders, manage change orders, and monitor project budgets to ensure everything stays on track.
- Recruit, schedule, and oversee installation crews as needed.
- Check in with homeowners to provide updates on ongoing projects, take progress photos, address questions, and ensure their satisfaction throughout the process.
- Address unexpected issues, such as material delays or customer concerns, and work with your team to resolve them quickly and efficiently.
- Review progress reports, evaluate upcoming priorities, and plan your next day to ensure smooth operations.
- Act as the local representative for customer relations while the back office manages administration.
Qualifications & Requirements - Experience in home renovation or construction project management is a plus — but we’ll train the right candidate.
- Must use your own vehicle and cover your own gas (mileage included in $30/hr rate).
- Must use your own cell phone (software/app costs covered by the company).
- Laptop helpful but not required.
- Must be reliable, professional, and detail-oriented.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) helpful but not required.
- Comfortable with flexible, variable hours (10–30 per week).
