Merit Rule 6.200.6 Appointment to summer school, extended school year and intersession positions shall be made in this priority: a) Employees who have worked in the classification, have successfully met the expectations of the class, and maintained necessary licenses or other requirements of the assignment. b) Qualified employees working in other related classifications and successfully met the expectations of those classes, and maintained necessary licenses or other requirements of the assignment. c) Qualified employees working in non-related classifications but who meet the minimum requirements of the classification for the assignment so as to provide evidence of ability to perform in such assignment. d) Qualified persons not currently employed by the District in a regular-status position but meet the requirements of the classification for the assignment. e) Qualified persons not currently employed by the District but meet the requirements of the classification for the assignment. Current substitutes will be eligible for selection AFTER priorities a-c are met. NOTE: Program Dates are June 22, 2026 - July 17, 2026, No school 7/3. It will be required that you are available the entire duration of the program, including prep days.
