Now Hiring: Utility / Porter – Hawaiian Airlines Lounge

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Step into a warm, island-inspired hospitality environment at the Hawaiian Airlines Lounge. Sodexo Live! is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Utility / Porter team members to support back-of-house operations in a premium lounge setting.

This role is essential to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and operational excellence. It is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to a seamless guest experience behind the scenes.

Schedule:

• Open availability preferred.
• Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Schedule may vary based on operational needs.

Your Impact: As a Utility / Porter, you will play a critical role in ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen and service environment by:

• Supporting culinary and service teams with clean and sanitized dishware and equipment.
• Maintaining organized, hygienic workspaces across kitchen and dish areas.
• Upholding food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Contributing to smooth and uninterrupted lounge operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize dishware, cookware, and utensils using both manual and machine methods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish rooms and kitchen workspaces.
• Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment, floors, walls, and refrigeration units.
• Remove trash and recyclables in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Restock and organize kitchen and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Handle cleaning chemicals in compliance with HACCP and OSHA guidelines.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Participate in required trainings, including food safety and safety protocols.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1 to 2 years of related experience in hospitality, food service, or similar environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Professional demeanor with a positive, reliable, and service-focused attitude.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
• Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot and cold environments.
• Comfortable working in a moderate to loud environment.

Requirements:

• Must successfully pass a TSA background check and drug screening.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Open availability, including weekends and holidays.
