Full We are looking for an organized, self-motivated and detail oriented individual to join our team! Owner has multiple small companies and bookkeeping will be for all of them.This position is fulltime and benefits. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic, integrity and have the ability through prior experience to efficiently process Payroll for 3 companies, process Accounts Payable and other related job functions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to processing payroll, posting, reconciling and paying accounts payable, posting invoices and deposits made by others, reconciling Bank, Credit Card, daily deposits, inter-business transactions and general ledger accounts.

Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Process Payroll, review timecards, calculate commissions and pay employees as well as make the periodic payroll taxes for Idaho withholding, 941 taxes and health insurance.
  • Management of payables processes, including entry of invoices, routing invoices for

approval, account coding, allocating to correct company(ies), and matching invoices in system to vendor statements. Prepare checks and post EFT/ACH/Credit Card transactions charged to open invoices.

  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
  • Maintain and request Form W-9s & COI's. May Process annual Form 1099 for vendors.
  • Periodically review active vendors for duplicates and vendors with no activity.
  • Enter all credit card transactions and reconcile company credit cards ensuring that each transaction is supported by receipts and necessary management approval and coded to the proper account(s) / company.
  • Reconcile all Bank Accounts.
  • Reconcile and balance activity between the various companies.
  • Compile the data for and report the monthly Washington State Excise Taxes.
  • Monthly Preliminary Financial Reports to ownership.
  • Work closely with existing outside CPA.
  • Review current processes, suggest automation and support general accounting in initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred o Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word experience

Salary: $23.00 to $25.00 /hour
