Now Hiring: Food Prep Cook – Hawaiian Airlines Lounge (Sodexo Live!)

Location: Portland International Airport (PDX)

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Schedule: Open availability required, including weekends and holidays

Sodexo Live! is seeking skilled and passionate Food Prep Cooks to join our premium airline lounge team. This is an opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise while delivering a high-quality dining experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and execute menu items in accordance with federal, state, and company standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation.
• Follow established recipes and production guidelines for preparing, seasoning, cooking, and serving a diverse range of dishes.
• Taste and evaluate food to ensure quality standards are met at all times.
• Review menus, forecast food needs, and manage production to support efficient service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment in compliance with food safety standards.
• Support buffet and lounge service during peak periods, ensuring an elevated guest experience.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance in alignment with operational needs.
• Support additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business and client expectations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional cooking experience required.
• Experience in high-volume, upscale, or hospitality-driven environments strongly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of kitchen operations, equipment, and food safety practices.
• A dependable, team-oriented professional with strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.

Requirements:

• Ability to pass a TSA background check and drug screening.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Flexible schedule with availability for weekends and holidays.
