Job Description

General Responsibilities:

The Janitorial/Critical Environment Rover is responsible for keeping assigned cleanroom and non-cleanroom areas in a clean and orderly condition and free of visible contamination. The ideal candidate will be flexible, responsible, highly motivated, and able to multi-task. 

Schedule:

• Flexibility needed : 
• Monday - Friday (Occasional weekend work may be needed)
• 8:00 AM - 4:30PM (Occasional night time work may be needed) 
• Pay Rate: $22 - $24 per hour

Specific Duties / Essential Functions:

• Cleaning offices, lobbies, and common areas.
• Cleaning and restocking restrooms.
• Empty trash cans around the property and replace trash bags.
• Works in controlled environments where strict rules and procedures must be followed to prevent contamination. 
• Wear specific cleanroom garments while working for safety purposes. 
• Follows and executes client’s cleanroom SOPs and documentation. 
• This position may include some travel. Must be willing to travel 2-3 weeks at a time. We will typically provide notice of travel between 2-4 weeks in advance.
• Performs proper cleaning methods such as vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning all work surfaces/equipment, mopping of walls, ceilings, and floors within a structured time frame. 
• Willingness to learn new concepts to understand cleanroom techniques and demonstrate proper cleanroom behavior fully always.
• Removing trash, cleaning floors, dusting/wiping down all surfaces.
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
• Operating walk-behind floor cleaning machines (if applicable).
• Cleans and polishes furniture, windows, doors, frames, ashtrays, and fixtures.
• Restocking supplies in, bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Maintain janitor closet and janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
• Periodically cleans overhead vents and dust blinds.
• Proficiency in English will enhance your ability to collaborate and communicate with colleagues and clients, ensuring smooth operations.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned. 
• Floor Care Experience is a Plus 
• GMP Micro Cleaner experience is a + plus

Skills & Experience:

• While not mandatory, proficiency in English is highly recommended to perform the responsibilities of this role effectively. We are committed to creating an inclusive work environment that values diversity." 
• Open availability: Overtime work and schedule adjustments may be needed/necessary. Holiday work may also be required.
• Applicants must provide proof of work authorization and complete an I9 and E-Verify process. 

Physical Requirements:

• Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs, carry 12 lbs backpack vacuum, as needed.

Requirements:

• Must complete pre-employment background check (if applicable).
• Must complete pre-employment drug screen (if applicable).
• Must complete pre-employment motor vehicle record check (if applicable).
• Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
• Use a personal, insured vehicle daily.
• Maintain a driving record that meets the standards of Pegasus' insurance carrier.

Work Environment: 

Clean rooms, controlled environments and technical rooms that typically have positive pressure, are HEPA filtered, adhere to a clean working environment, and have specific ways to enter and exit the assigned work area. Gowns must be worn for the protection of the room and products. Temperatures are cooler than a normal office building with controlled humidity.
