Job Description

Connect Staffing is hiring an Order Picker for a vinyl manufacturing company in Placentia, CA. This is a temp-to-hire, full-time position paying $20.00/hr with required overtime and weekends. In this role, you will pick vinyl rolls, sheets, and boxes from racks using order forms and pick lists, operate a sit-down forklift and pallet jack to move vinyl stock, and scan and log inventory using an RF scanner or WMS. This position has 1–2 openings available and offers a consistent first-shift schedule.

Pay:$20.00/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM; weekends and overtime required as assigned

Responsibilities

• Locate and retrieve vinyl rolls, sheets, and boxes from racks and shelves based on order forms or pick lists.
• Operate a sit-down forklift and pallet jack to transport vinyl stock throughout the facility.
• Scan and log inventory and order data using a handheld RF scanner or warehouse management system (WMS).
• Move completed pallets of picked orders to staging or loading dock areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and storage locations within the warehouse.
• Follow all safety protocols when operating heavy equipment and handling bulky vinyl rolls.

Minimum Requirements

• 6+ months of order picking or warehouse experience.
• Cherry Picker or stand up reach forklift experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using an RF scanner or warehouse management system (WMS).
• Familiarity with rack storage systems and pallet staging workflows.
• Experience in a vinyl, plastics, or building materials warehouse environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience moving and handling oversized or bulky materials such as rolls or sheets.
